Contact
Amendments, queries about where a particular number comes from, and everything else.
Every message is read. Most get an answer inside a couple of working days; a correction that needs checking against the statute can take longer, and we would rather be slow than wrong.
Send us a correction before you send us anything else
Where a page misstates the law, we want to hear about it. Name the page, say what you think is wrong with it, and point us at the article or ruling you are working from. We verify, amend where you have a point, and record the amendment and its date on the page itself.
The stakes are higher here than on a site that gets a recipe wrong. Someone reading a figure that is too low may sign a settlement and give up thousands of dirhams they were entitled to.
What we cannot do
- Advise on your case. We cannot tell you what you are owed, whether your employer is in the wrong, or what to do about it. That requires someone who can see your contract and take responsibility for the answer — a UAE-qualified lawyer, or MOHRE.
- Intervene with an employer. We cannot contact them, review your settlement, or act as an expert opinion in a dispute.
- Recommend a lawyer. We do not accept referral arrangements, so we have no list to point you at.
Where to take a dispute
The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation handles labour complaints for employees under the federal law and attempts settlement before matters go further. Keep your contract, payslips, resignation or termination letter, and any written calculation you were given.
Commercial enquiries
We do not accept paid articles, sponsored placements, guest posts or paid links, and we have no referral arrangements with law firms or recruiters. Please do not send outreach about any of these; the answer is no in every case. See the funding page.
